Spring Cleanse 2013 – Day 5

04/11/2013 Posted by Turtle Flo Health & Wellness, Lifestyle

alterWow, it’s day 5 already. Today was a much better day. I still have the cold symptoms so took the time to rest and put self-care at the forefront. I had the best nap this morning after our morning session. I also got an extra almond milk chia shake and replaced one of the green juices with green juice with apple. That helped a lot.

I didn’t feel hungry all day and my concentration is sharper. The yoga was gentler with longer meditation. This is the part of the cleanse where you go deep within. Catching a cold right when I went all green makes it very confusing as to what symptoms are caused by the cold vs. the cleanse. But this is what is true to me at the moment so I must accept the circumstance and go through the journey.

With this cleanse, my body has been reacting very strongly to what is good for me and what isn’t. I also noticed that when I’m sleepy I have to sleep or eat. I’m very clear about what my path is and what I need to let go of. I’ve known it for a while but I feel like it is screaming at me to the nth degree this time around. I hope the how’s will come to be with the subtle shifts I’ve been making with the cleanse. I’ve been very sensitive to sound which didn’t happen before. Even though my nose is stuffed I can still smell the roses when I take my dog for a walk. Everything looks bright, crisp and colorful.

Looking forward to tomorrow but will be bitter sweet to say good-bye to the group. The group support is what makes this cleanse so special and makes it doable.
